Patchouliful offers an unconventional interpretation of patchouli, in which its deep and unmistakable character takes on a brighter expression without losing its intensity. Created by perfumer Cécile Zarokian for Laboratorio Olfattivo, the fragrance draws inspiration from the image of an eccentric king, with white hair and a crown on his head, yet dressed in a floral shirt and sandals. An inspiration that perfectly reflects the spirit of the composition: noble, free-spirited and slightly rebellious, with hippie influences reinterpreted in a contemporary way.
The opening is vibrant and spicy, with bergamot, cinnamon and cloves, bringing brightness and warmth from the very first moments. At the heart, patchouli reveals its personality in a less earthy form, enveloped by the powdery elegance of iris and the exotic floral accents of frangipani flower. This combination creates a rich and nuanced olfactory texture, where woody depth intertwines with floral delicacy in a surprising balance. As the fragrance evolves on the skin, cistus, cedarwood and musk create a warm base with balsamic accents and understated sensuality.
