Hypertension by Rico Fragrance is an Al Ambra creation, developed in collaboration with Rico Fragrance, exploring the contrast between the vibrancy of fruits, the warmth of spices and the intensity of leather, tobacco and oud accords. With a pronounced oriental-woody character, the fragrance opens with a juicy combination of raspberry and lychee, whose sweetness is balanced by the slightly bitter freshness of grapefruit. Saffron brings a dry, sophisticated warmth, while coriander and basil introduce aromatic accents that add vibrancy to the opening.
At the heart, rose and osmanthus develop a rich floral accord, infused with fruity nuances subtly reminiscent of apricot. Orange blossom adds radiance, while ginger and cardamom enhance the spicy character of the composition. Tonka bean softens the transition towards the base with a delicate warmth, preparing the way for denser and deeper notes. Leather, oud and tobacco define the fragrance’s intense personality, supported by the dry texture of cedarwood. Amberwood and amber complete this structure with warm accents, bringing depth and continuity to the entire composition.
