Fleur d’Ange draws its inspiration from osmanthus, an Asian flower surrounded by symbols and legends. It is said that the appearance of angels was accompanied by these delicate flowers, and over time, osmanthus became a symbol of fidelity and true love. Even its name, derived from the Greek words osma – “fragrant” and anthos – “flower”, reflects the central role its scent has played in tradition and perfumery.
In this creation by Gianluca Gariboldi, floral radiance is built around rose, ylang-ylang, iris, tuberose and jasmine, while lime introduces a fresher, more vibrant accent. Osmanthus then emerges alongside apricot and blackcurrant, giving the composition a velvety floral-fruity texture, with depth and subtle sensuality. On the skin, Fleur d’Ange gradually develops greater warmth through guaiac wood, sandalwood, myrrh and amber.
The result is a rich yet balanced fragrance, where the delicacy of flowers meets the depth of the woody and resinous base. Belonging to the floral-fruity olfactory family, it is suited to those who appreciate expressive, elegant and long-lasting compositions.
