ExpLOud is a luminous and contemporary interpretation of oud, signed by perfumer Pierre Guéros. Instead of insisting exclusively on its dark side, the composition treats oud as a material with multiple facets: smoky, leathery, slightly animalic, yet at the same time vibrant and elegant. The floral accord of magnolia and Lilybelle brings air, clarity and an almost aquatic freshness, giving the perfume a broader opening and expressive projection.
On the skin, the structure gradually becomes deeper through the association of patchouli, creamy sandalwood and Madagascar vetiver, which develop a complex woody texture, with earthy and smoky nuances. Ambrocenide and Ambrostar support the longevity and energy of the composition, while Oud Boya accentuates the oriental character. It is a perfume suitable for the wearer drawn to intense notes and precious raw materials, but who seeks a balanced, luminous and well-defined oud.
